CropShrink is a small project and email reaches a person, not a ticket queue. Write to hello@cropshrink.com and we will reply as quickly as we reasonably can.
Reporting a problem
Image bugs are hard to reproduce without detail, so the more of this you can include, the faster it gets fixed:
- Your browser and version, and the operating system — the browser does the decoding and encoding, so this is usually where the difference lies.
- The source format and roughly the dimensions and file size.
- Which settings were active: crop ratio, resize method, output format, quality.
- What you expected, and what happened instead.
Please don’t attach the image itself unless you are comfortable sharing it. A description, or a screenshot of the affected area, is almost always enough.
Feature requests
The gaps we already know about are listed on the homepage — batch processing, animated images, keeping metadata. If one of those would make the difference for you, saying so helps us order the work. If you need something that isn’t on the list, tell us what you are trying to achieve rather than which button you want; there is often a better answer than the obvious one.
Privacy requests
Requests about personal data go to the same address. Note that CropShrink holds no account data and never receives your images, so the only personal data involved is in the web server’s access logs — the privacy policy explains what those contain.
One thing we can’t help with
We cannot recover an image you edited and lost. Because nothing is uploaded and nothing is stored, there is no copy anywhere except on your own device. That is the deliberate trade: complete privacy, and no safety net. Keep your originals.
